in squarish sizes--i.e. 20 x 24", 20 x 20", 18 x 20", etc.
Linen, although more expensive and variegated,
is often the preferred support, if so desired.
Canvas panels, mounted on board & primed are also serviceable,
and canvas pads can be used for practice and color mixing.

from #4, 6, 8, 10 & 12, and it's helpful to have a 1" bristle brush.
Palette-- Any traditional hand-held or pre-formed, plastic palette,
disposable tablet palettes, or paper/plastic plates.
Other materials--Two open water containers, palette knife, paper towels,
and an easel (helpful, but not necessary) - standing or table model.
